Sweetness

May the gift of this day of wonder be like a grand bouquet given from a lover for celebration of sweet love. Tolerant

Dear Lord please be with us this day and please guide and protect us as we interact among Your other children. Please may the Holy Spirit be by our side and may our thoughts and deeds be directed from a point of love and tolerance even when it means giving up control of a situation that we have so much concern for. In Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

Lu 9:49 And John answered and said, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name; and we forbad him, because he followeth not with us.
Lu 9:50 And Jesus said unto him, Forbid him not: for he that is not against us is for us.

Ro 14:10 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.

Ro 14:12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.

In Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

Influence

Dear Lord please be with us this day and help us to be patient with others as we tread the paths that are before us. May the Holy Spirit be by our side showing direction that is by choice to be kind and thoughtful to others. Please help us find encouragement and added confidence in ourselves every time that we can solve a problem and have a success no matter the size. Please help us have the understanding that even if it is a very small problem and very small success it is still something to put on the positive side of the ledger. Php 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Freedom

Dear Lord please be with us this day and help us have patience with others on this day that You have given us to use as we see fit. Please help us to understand that the freedom we have as to how to use this day is necessary for us to be able to seek the Kingdom of God. Help us understand that we can have the guidance of the Holy Spirit but we are free to not follow this guidance, and we won't always follow this guidance even though we know in our innermost being that we should. Help us see that we are God's children not his puppets and that is why we must stay in active communication with the Lord through prayer and meditation and seeking His Kingdom is a path that requires the discipline of virtues found when we surrender our will to His. In Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

KJV
Ps 51:12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.

Approval

Dear Lord please be with us, guide us, and protect us on this day. Please forgive our mistakes as we forgive others when they do not do as we think they should. Help us to not force our will on others, but to offer advise for guidance, set an example, and then with prayer give the freedom of Christ's Love over to them with the hope and faith that if it be God's Will the Holy Spirit will persevere with the guidance necessary to lead them to truth and salvation. Please help us see our own missteps and stiff necked refusal to be led into the light. Please help us to seek the approval of the Lord rather than the approval of man or the sinful world, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

Quotation:
The great need of the world today is the spiritual power necessary for the overthrow of evil, for the establishment of righteousness, and for the ushering in of the era of perpetual peace; and that spiritual power begins in the surrender of the individual to God. It commences with obedience to the first commandment. --William Jennings Bryan

Lu 18:10 Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.
Lu 18:11 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.
Lu 18:12 I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.
Lu 18:13 And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.
Lu 18:14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

Please give us thirst for knowledge and the understanding that Your Will is done on earth as it is in Heaven and that the flower of love will burst from the bud into full bloom according to Your plan and not to our impatient desires, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

Consider

Dear Lord thank You for all of the great gifts that You have given us and please forgive our sins. Please give us understanding that what we need, and what we want to have, are two different things. Please may the Holy Spirit instill the wisdom in our thinking of the true values that are on the path to finding the Kingdom of God. Concern

Dear Lord please be with us this day and may we not be concerned with who gets credit for deeds done nor words said as we go down the paths of the day ahead. Mt 13:24 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:
Mt 13:25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
Mt 13:26 But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.
Mt 13:27 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?
Mt 13:28 He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?
Mt 13:29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.
