Float

Dear Lord please be with us this day and please help us to remember to relax, and float for rest in the waters of despair and depression, instead of struggling and flailing about like a poor soul about to drown, fighting against what we cannot control. When the storms of life rage let us find comfort with the Holy Spirit Who is the Comforter, by searching for scripture that has a positive message and the reassurance necessary to bring us into the arms of our Shepherd, Jesus the Christ, in Jesus Christ's name we pray,amen.

KJV
Mt 7:24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
Mt 7:25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Joh 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

Joh 6:40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Joh 20:31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

Excitement

Dear Lord please be with us this day and may the Holy Spirit show us paths to take that will lead us to new destinations as we seek Your Kingdom. Please help us to not lose what humility we have as we travel these paths today and be wise enough to share our victories with others if we have successes that may excite us to the point of boasting. Help us to bring others to this point of excitement in discovering the wonderful peace of mind found when surrendering our will to Yours, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

Quotation:
One must reach the point of not caring two straws about his own status before he can wish wholly for God's kingdom, not his own, to be established. --C.S. Lewis

KJV

Mt 4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Mt 13:31 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field:
Mt 13:32 Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof.
Mt 13:33 Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.

Mt 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Heb 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

2Ti 2:7 Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things.

Reflect

Dear Lord please be with us this day and may the Holy Spirit guide and protect us throughout the day. Please may the Holy Spirit be using us to reflect the message of Hope whenever and wherever we can and may we not reflect feelings of despair and depression, but the Truth of the Love of Christ, in Jesus Christ name we pray, amen.

KJV
Col 1:23 If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;

2Co 3:6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

2Co 4:1 Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;
2Co 4:2 But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.

2Co 5:18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

Ears and Eyes

Dear Lord please be with us this day and may the Holy Spirit be with us every step that we take down the paths of this day. Php 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
Php 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Wonders

Dear Lord please be with us this day and may the Holy Spirit be by our sides as we tread the paths that are laid out before us. Please may we be productive and get things done and may we find insight as the Holy Spirit directs our steps and thoughts to the harmony and rhythm of Your Creation where wonders still wait to be embraced more fully by Your children. In Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

KJV
Pr 4:7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.

Pr 4:14 Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men.

Mistakes

Dear Lord please be with us this day and may the Holy Spirit be with us comforting and forgiving us for mistakes made as we interacted with Your children. Please show us how to be gracious with the ability to accept acts of fellowship and brotherly love from others and may the mistakes that we have made in the past be points of thoughtful learning not memories that haunt our days in which we are seeking Your Kingdom, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

KJV
Ga 5:13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.

Please help us realize the power that is possible when we have the faith generated by the Holy Spirit to do all things through Jesus Christ, Who strengthens us, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

Quotation:
The word "Comforter" as applied to the Holy Spirit needs to be translated by some vigorous term. Literally, it means "with strength." Jesus promised His followers that "The Strengthener" would be with them forever. This promise is no lullaby for the fainthearted. It is a blood transfusion for courageous living. --E. Paul Hovey

KJV
Php 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Joh 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

2Co 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Risky

KJV
Jas 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
Jas 1:6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
Jas 1:7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
Jas 1:8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
Jas 1:9 Let the brother of low degree rejoice in that he is exalted:
Jas 1:10 But the rich, in that he is made low: because as the flower of the grass he shall pass away.
Jas 1:11 For the sun is no sooner risen with a burning heat, but it withereth the grass, and the flower thereof falleth, and the grace of the fashion of it perisheth: so also shall the rich man fade away in his ways.
Jas 1:12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

Truth does not consist in minute accuracy of detail, but in conveying a right impression; and there are vague ways of speaking that are truer than strict facts would be.
