Thankfulness

Dear Lord thank You for keeping us safe as we travel, help us to be loving and generous with those that we meet on this trip and may we spread Your influence by our actions and attitude. Please guide us and help us to make wise decisions and feel Your presence in control of our day. May our thinking be led by the Holy Spirit and we carry Your blessings to others through generosity and kindness, in Jesus Christ name we pray, amen.

Dear Lord please be with us today, and may we feel Your presence as we go off into places we have never been. Thank You for all of the great gifts that You have given us and please help us to be good stewards and make wise choices as we move along through life. Cruelty

Dear Lord please be with us today and may this be a good day for us and people that we have contact with, and the whole world. May we not insist that the world be perfect according to our view and that all i's be dotted and t's crossed according to our perfectionist views of Your Will. May the cruelty of criticism not always be at our first inclination on how to best witness to the Gospel Of Jesus Christ our savior. May love of our fellow men dominate the direction of our thoughts and may we not fall into the temptation of deciding who deserves the love of God. In Jesus Christ name we pray, amen.

Calm

Dear Lord please be with us on this day and make calm come over what seems to be confusion ahead and uncertainties on what direction to turn first. Put confidence into our minds and may the Holy Spirit be beside us as we make decisions whether large or small. Help us to be easy to follow in our thoughts for others that we are with and may love be the dominating force in all that we do. In Jesus Christ name we pray, amen.

Excitement

Dear Lord please may this be a good day and may we find excitement in the way this day unfolds. Help us to see that even though the day is not always going the way we had hoped for, it is no doubt going the way Your will is calling for, and that we can use this day to draw closer to You and Your design for our future. We can cope with what comes, and be able to transform as You desire for us later in Your plan. Help us to see wonders in Your creation that we did not consider before, and new meaning in Your Word as it is revealed to us. In Jesus Christ name we pray, amen.

Unlimited

Dear Lord please be with us to day and may this be a good day for us, may we feel free and unlimited to what we might accomplish. If the Holy Spirit encourages us to explore scripture and thought, may we do so with an open mind with out fear or restriction. Help us to absorb knowledge and insight with out narrow guardrails put in place by well meaning but out dated tradition. May we feel free to show brotherly love to all of God's children no matter the circumstance, and may we openly challenge whatever or whoever might be trying to limit this love. Please may the things that we try to do today work out alright and for the best, In Jesus Christ name we pray, amen.

Lift of Faith

Dear Lord please may this be a good day, and may the Holy Spirit give us a spiritual lift as we go through the day. Help us to see love and charity being generated through the faith of the truly good people of the world. May we see the silver lining of the many clouds that threaten to cover over Your light only to be dispersed by Your love that has been nurtured in Your creation from the beginning of time. Woes

Dear Lord please be with us this day and may this be a good day. Please help us not to be overwhelmed and depressed by the never ending negativity of the political talk that we hear as the time of election nears. May we feel your presence and have the assurance that You are still in charge and control and that in the final finish Your powerful love will prevail. Thank goodness that the woes of the world do not depend on the plans of man, but on Your everlasting love and wisdom that comes to the world as Your plan for us all unfolds. Please Lord be with us all, in Christ name we pray, amen.

Example

Dear Lord please be with us today and please may this be a good day. Please may we be able to feel Your presence with us as we go through the day. Let us realize that everything that we say and do is making a witness to others, or setting an example to whoever might notice of what our values are. Whether we are kind and generous with our brotherly love, with smiles and courtesy. Whether we step over trash, or pick it up, or create more! Please walk with us today Lord and give us the peace of mind that only You can give, in Jesus Christ name we pray, amen.

Mt 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Expectations

Dear Lord please be with us this day and please may this be another good day. Please Lord may we not be guided by expectations that could cause us to dodge doing Your will on this day. Expectations that might cause us to prejudge a person that we should listen to or an event that we should attend. Maybe if we can hear the Holy Spirit urging us to offer ourselves some way to some one, we can change lives and take actions that will bring others to Christ by giving them attention. Dear Lord please may this be a good day, may the things that we try to do work out as to Your will not ours. Help us to come to ascertain what Your will is by communicating with prayer and meditation. Please may the Holy Spirit be with us in our thought as we survey your creation both through senses and thought. In Jesus Christ name we pray, amen.

Anxiety

Dear Lord please help us to be free of anxiety on this day and may this be a good day. Help me to understand that Your power is always available to me when I feel this enemy of anxiety trying to mount an attack on my ability to live as I should. Help me to understand that through You all things are possible and that I can do all things through Jesus Christ Who strengthens me. If You are with me who can be against me. May the Holy Spirit fill me with the feeling of God's power, in Jesus Christ name we pray, amen.

Challenges

Dear Lord please be with us this day and may this be a good day of insight and success. May the challenges we face not be allowed to overwhelm us, and may we prevail where we have not been able to in the past. Please allow us to have understandings and confidence as we approach these challenges, and may we be able to sort out what really matters, and what is trivial. May the comfort of the Holy Spirit be giving us strength and guidance throughout this day, in Jesus Christ name we pray , amen.

Patience

Dear Lord, Thank You for this day and please may Your Kingdom truly be closer to reality this day. May we be receptive of Your daily bread in the form of spiritual knowledge and in doing Your will. Please may the things that we try to do work out alright and for the best and may we be patient with others and ourselves, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

Priorities and Values

Dear Lord please be with us to day and please may this be a good day. Please help us to have the right priorities and values embedded in our mind so the decisions we make will not hinge on egotistical nor selfish motives. May we be guided through the day by the Holy Spirit, in Jesus Christ name we pray, amen.

Making a Difference

Dear Lord please be with us today, may this be a good day, and may we be able to make a difference in somebodies attitude by some simple God driven act of love that makes a positive influence on them. Please help us to feel and be open to the Holy Spirit's influence on our attitude, as our day goes by, in Jesus Christ name, we pray, amen.

Patient Ego

Dear Lord please be with us today and may this day be one that we can cherish when it is gone past. May we not be in a hurry for our will to be met, but be able to wait for Yours. May our selfish ego not be our driving force even tho we are in our eyes doing as You would want under the circumstances we find ourselves in. Help us to prayerfully wait with patience for you to take control even if it doesn't seem to be happening, and may our ego learn to forgo the seeking of recognition and glory.

To Be Fed

Dear Lord please be with us this day and may this be a good day. Help us to choose the spiritual feeding that comes our way today wisely. May we choose a path toward thoughts of peaceful harmony and reconciliation to what ever differences we may encounter as we stroll through Gods world of diversity and wonder. Blessings

Dear Lord may this be a good day, help me to realize how many true blessings I have. May this lead me to a positive attitude and a pathway of thinking that will end in the realization of my worshiping your magnificent works and possibilities for me to find satisfaction within my soul and peace of mind as my thoughts move with the rhythm of the Holy Spirit.
