Competition
Dear Lord please be with us this day and may Your Holy Spirit please be guiding and protecting us in every thing that we say and do. Thank You for all of the great gifts and blessings and protection that You give us and please forgive our sins the same as we forgive the mistakes of others.
Dear Lord please lead us into paths of understanding, wisdom, and compassion on this day so that we may be able to cope with whatever problems that may come up as we deal with Your Children in Your Creation that You have made us a part of by way of miraculous birth and survival.
Dear Lord please show us that while we think sometimes that our problems are so large, they are only as large as we let them become by worrying and fretting over the things that will work themselves out for the best if we but give You control.
Dear Lord please help us not to fall into the trap of trying to have the most and the best, as if life has to be a time of competition, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

Moving On

Weighing Our Values
Dear Lord please be with us this day and may Your Holy Spirit please be guiding and protecting us in every thing that we say and do. Thank You for all of the great gifts and blessings and protection that You give us and please forgive our sins the same as we forgive the mistakes of others.
Dear Lord please travel with us in our thoughts and actions on this day and please help us weigh the values that we carry and please help us consider if these values are dragging us down into depression or are these values lifting our hearts into the beauty of the days experiences like the laughter of children with shining faces, the greetings shared by the old, and like the simple beauty of birds singing in the sunshine or wild flowers glistening wet with dew drops on their petals.

Forgiveness
Dear Lord please be with us this day and may Your Holy Spirit please be guiding and protecting us in every thing that we say and do. Dear Lord please help us to be unselfish and to truly forgive others when they do not act towards us as we would like or when they make mistakes, whether they ask for forgiveness or not may we not harbor selfish thoughts or continue to be upset about their attitude or actions.

What Direction to Take
Dear Lord please be with us this day and may Your Holy Spirit please be guiding and protecting us in every thing that we say and do. Thank You for all of the great gifts and blessings and protection that You have given us and please forgive our sins the same as we forgive the mistakes of others.
Dear Lord please lead us on paths of righteousness and please continue to remind us that our past sins are forgiven and please help us to recognize the direction that You would have us turn to and the paths that we should follow, not to follow others but to be led by Your Holy Spirit, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

Unselfish Compassion
Dear Lord please be with us this day and may Your Holy Spirit please be guiding and protecting us in every thing that we say and do. Thank You for all of the great gifts and blessings and protection that You give us and please forgive our sins the same as we forgive the mistakes of others.
Dear Lord please lead us into paths of polite interaction and good fellowship while setting good examples of humble love and sacrificial friendship as we walk these paths of opportunity to sow seeds of Your Philosophy and Lifestyle of unselfish compassion.
Dear Lord please be with us as we seek Your Kingdom and please guide us into paths of virtues that will not bring disappointment but bring peace of mind and Your Peace that is so wonderful and of clean satisfaction, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

Assurance

Paths of Temptation

Dear Lord please lead us into paths of humble assistance so that we may be a help to others but please lead us not into paths of the temptation of seeking glory for ourselves and the abilities that You have given us by impressing others and seeking the glory from others when all power and glory belongs to You, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

Communication and Gardening
Dear Lord please be with us this day and may Your Holy Spirit please be guiding and protecting us in every thing that we say and do. Thank You for all of the great gifts and blessings and protection that You give us and please forgive our sins the same as we forgive the mistakes of others.
Dear Lord please lead us into paths of good communication with others and please guide us away from misunderstandings that might cause hardships or hurt feelings that could be prevented easily by acknowledging Your method of gardening in the wonderful garden of Your Creation where all colors of all blooms are blended into a balanced effect of beauty, where competition is only in the imagination of the worldly values of hate and greed.
