Fill In

Dear Lord please may this be a good day and may our path be guided by the light of the Holy Spirit. May we see opportunities to fill in empty places for people that we touch this day. If they need recognition or encouragement as they tread their path, or just a smile and kind word to kindle the love and energy of the Holy Spirit. Help us to make them welcome and well seated at Your table of Grace. In Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

Jude 1:25 To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

Shared Wisdom

Dear Lord please be with us today and may this be one day that has satisfaction if only in our coming to an understanding of how helpless we are to help those who will not accept help. When we were young wisdom from experience could not be ours and rather than accept what our elders tried to share we blundered on to our own conclusion whether it be good or bad. Now we have some things to share that is obviously wise but no one will listen. Dear Lord please help us to know our limitations and rest in the faith of Your care and guidance, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

KJV
Col 1:9 For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
Col 1:10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
Col 1:11 Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;

Words

May the Holy Spirit guide us through the day and show us ways to make the day better for ourselves and others. In Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

KJV
1Pe 3:10 For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:
Jas 1:26 If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.
Pr 21:23 Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles.
Jas 3:2 For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.
Mt 12:37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

Past

Dear Lord please be with us this day and may this day be a productive and positive one. May we be wise and guided by the Holy Spirit in our thoughts and not bashed about because of mistakes held up for us to see by inner feelings of inferiority. May we feel the power of God the almighty instilled in our being with ability and confidence enabling us to cope with whatever comes, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

KJV

2Co 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:
Php 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Temptation

Dear Lord may this be a good day and may the Holy Spirit guide us and protect us from the temptations that are strong and overpowering. Even tho we want to do the right things in our lives it is easy to be distracted by desires that are camouflaged as being enjoyable and innocent. If we have been hurt it is easy to justify giving in to temptation and desires that we know is not the will of God. In Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

KJV
1Co 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
Jas 1:2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
Jas 1:3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
Jas 1:4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
Jas 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

Money

Dear Lord please be with us and may this be a good day. Please may our time not be shaped around money, neither the lack of it, the desire for it, nor the opportunity for gain of it. Rather that the Holy Spirit take charge of our day and lead us to the joy of God's love and promises of spiritual prosperity. Please may we live in humbleness and not fall into the trap of vanity. In Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

KJV

Motivation

Dear Lord please be with us, and may this be a good day. May our motivation be from the Holy Spirit and Your Will be done through us. Joh 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
Ro 4:16 Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,
Ga 3:22 But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.

In Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

1Ti 6:7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
1Ti 6:8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
1Ti 6:9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
