Thank You Lord

Dear Lord thank you for keeping us safe, as we travel, and thank you for the way things seem to be working out as though they be preplanned. May our visits bring positive moments, and periods of positive thought to whoever we meet, and have dealings with. Please stay with us, guide us, and protect us, In Christ name we pray, amen.

Traveling

Dear Lord please be with us to day as we travel, please may the Holy Spirit be with us and guiding our thoughts and actions. Please keep us safe, guide us, and protect us, and keep us from stumbling, or causing others to fail or fall. Be with all of our loved ones, please and may this trip be a wonderful adventure of our sharing the love that you have given us. In Christ name we pray, amen.

Vanity

Dear Lord please be with us this day and please may it be a good one. May the things that we try to do work out alright and for the best, and may we not be trying to increase our popularity with others by the things that we do, but rather seeking glory for You. Please help us to carry true humility as we walk the path of your instruction. In Christ name we pray, amen.

KJV Pr 20:11 ¶ Even a child is known by his doings, whether his work be pure, and whether it be right.

Opinion

Dear Lord thank you for this day, and may it be a good one. Please help me to have more patience and compassion with others as I share my opinion and understanding of God's Kingdom. Even though I believe my understanding to be correct, help me to show respect and listen to the other person with an open mind. May I find avenues to thought provoking insights that will lead me and others to an area that is dominated by the Truth of which Jesus Christ spoke.

Honesty

Dear Lord thank you for this day, may it be a good one, and may the things that we try to do work out alright and for the best. Help us to treat others as we would like to be treated. Please help us to be honest with ourselves in our innermost thoughts, as we contemplate the things that we say and do in dealing with others. Help us to be generous, lenient, and forgiving, with honest motives toward loving relationships with all peoples that we have contact with. May we be able to make this day a good one for others, please stay with us, guide us, and protect us, amen.

KJV Pr 18:24 ¶ A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.

Faith

Dear Lord thank you for all of the great gifts that you have given us, and may this be a good day today. Please may the things that we try to do work out alright and for the best. Please help us to have faithful patience as the day unfolds, that you are with us, and that your plan for our lives is going forward even today. Please give us the wisdom we need to make the decisions before us, whether they be large or small. Please forgive our sins and help us to live by the golden rule, in Christ name we pray, amen.

Beauty

Dear Lord Please help us this day to take the time to appreciate the beauty that is all around us. Beauty that we disregard and take for granted, because of our senses being spoiled. Help us to hear the wonderful sounds of nature, insects, birds, even thunder at times, or the pitter pat of rain. Help us to see the textures of leaf, limb, turf, and stone. The symmetry of plants and butterflies, the colors of skies, clouds, waters, sunsets, and sunrises, all to behold as free gifts from the creator. The list goes on, but how stupid we are to pursue the things that vanity dictates, and not these wonderful things that are in front of us every day. Forgive us Lord, In Christ name we pray, amen.

Stubbornness

Dear Lord please be with us today, and please may this be a good day. As we approach problems this day help us to have a positive, stubborn, stick to it, type of philosophy, that will enable us to get our chores done and be proud of ourselves when the day is over. Help us to see problems as learning opportunities, not road blocks that can't be overcome. Please give us the confidence and guidance that we need as we remember that we can do all things through Jesus Christ who strengthens us and that if God is for us who can be against us. Thank you for all of the great gifts that you have given us, in Christ name we pray, amen.
KJV Ps 1:3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

Choices

Dear Lord please may this be a good day today, and may we make good choices in the things that we do and say. It seems that we have more that needs to be done than we can do, so please help us to choose the right things to do first so that we are productive with our time. Help us not to rush by times that we should be noticing your creation whether it be other people or wonderful acts of nature. Help us to have time for loving and listening, and not be ignoring those who need us. In Christ name we pray, amen.

Be Prepared

Dear Lord thank You for this day, please may it be a good one. Yesterday I was enlightened on how days should be handled as they evolve. I felt so much in charge and ready to set the world on fire with my productivity, the weather was perfect, the birds were singing, and nothing seemed to be negative. Then a little bitty wasp stung me right on the end of my finger, terrible crippling pain put a stop to every thing, that finger is still numb and swollen this morning. This was a very minor set back, and only a small inconvenience, but I thought a good example of how and why we have to be prepared for the unexpected in life and know that we are not in charge. Dear Lord please be with us every day to help us cope with and handle the unexpected, and to understand that You are ultimately in charge. In Christ name we pray amen.

Touched

Dear Lord please be with us today, guide us and protect us and may this be a good day. Please may we be touched by the Holy Spirit with the positive thinking as it is found in the teachings of Jesus as we remember that we can do all things through Jesus Christ Who strengthens us, and if God be for us who can be against us! Help us to have a productive day, and see that problems no matter what are also opportunities to gain in ability and experience. Please give us the patience, understanding, and all other virtues necessary to cope with what arises on this day. Thank You for all of the great gifts that You have given us, and please forgive our sins, amen.

Motives

Dear Lord please be with us today, and may this be a good day, and the things that we try to do work out alright and for the best. Please may we have honest motives driven by Your love and not motives driven by evil thoughts of revenge or selfishness, as we choose our words and actions in dealing with others this day and always. Help us not to be seeking glory for ourselves, or doing things for our own gain of ego driven position among others, but to see true needs and try to meet these needs with true and honest motives of Christian love and faith. In Christ name we pray, amen.

Generosity

Dear Lord please be with us. guide us, and protect us today, and may this be a good day today. May the things that we try to do work out alright and for the best. Please help us to be generous with God's love as we have the opportunities in what ever manner arises, whether it be as servants in physical actions, as sponsors in some monetary gift, or as a supportive listener to a lonely soul. Whichever occurs will cause a reciprocating blessing of even more spiritual worth, to come into our life by way of the Holy Spirit in a way too mysterious to understand, but very real indeed. Please forgive our sins, and we thank you for all of the great gifts that you have given us, in Christ name we pray, amen.

Awareness

Dear Lord thank you for all of the great gifts that you have given us, please may this be a good day today, and may we operate with the right values and priorities in mind. No matter what our needs, wants, or problems, may we not lose sight nor awareness of the plight of others. We know that as we strive to gather the material things into our lives and lives of our loved ones, that it is easy to overlook the plight of the less fortunate around us. Please help us to be sensitive and become easily aware of opportunities, even though busy within our own worlds, to help others with their problems. Please be with us, guide us and protect us, in Christ name we pray amen.

Hindsight

Dear Lord please be with us this day, may it be a good day, and may You guide us and protect us. Dear Lord help us to understand that even tho we should not grieve over mistakes made in the past, hindsight is the friend of wisdom, and for us to study our past path and direction with the tool of hindsight, we might be able to see how Your inevitable plan for our life has unfolded, or where a misstep was made that can be avoided in the future. Please may this be a productive day and may we make this a good day for others that we come in contact with. Help us to weigh the words and deeds that we say and do today, so that hindsight on this day will show that the love of God is working through us.
