Attitude

Dear Lord please be with us this day and may the Holy Spirit please be guiding and protecting us in all that we say and do. Please help us have an attitude that will move us through the day doing things from the inspiration that we receive as we observe and consider Your wonderful creation. Please show us that our attitude should not be one that would draw boundaries or make restrictions among Your children, please lead us to an attitude based on the teachings of Jesus the Christ, and not influenced by the evils of lust, greed, and hate. Please forgive our sins the same as we forgive the mistakes of others, and thank You for all of the great gifts and blessings that You have given us, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

KJV*
Mic 6:8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

Ro 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
Ro 1:17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
Ro 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

Php 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Col 3:12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;
Col 3:13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
Col 3:14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
Col 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
Col 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
Col 3:17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

Imperfections

Dear Lord please be with us this day and may the Holy Spirit please be guiding and protecting us all through this day, and may we not pass up an opportunity for a good experience or valuable friendship because we are too judgemental or critical of imperfections. In Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

Ps 19:12 Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults.

Ec 7:21 Also take no heed unto all words that are spoken; lest thou hear thy servant curse thee:
Ec 7:22 For oftentimes also thine own heart knoweth that thou thyself likewise hast cursed others.

Php 3:13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
Php 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Choices

Dear Lord please be with us this day and may the Holy Spirit please be guiding and protecting us in all that we say and do. Please help us to have understanding of what things are important and what things are of false value and should not be sought after. Please instill in us a sense of how, when, where, and why to make the choices that put us on the various paths that are available for us to tread on, every day. Please show us that our every day world can be seen as a large shopping area with many aisles full of shelves piled high with many products that can be very expensive if not chosen with wisdom. Please lead us away from the temptations of the false values of the lustful and greedy world, and please bring us into Your presence, as we seek Your Kingdom. Thank You for all of the great gifts and blessings that You have given us, and please forgive our sins the same as we forgive the mistakes of others, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

Words and Deeds

Please show us that doing what good we can with what we have to work with can overcome the evil in our lives through the power of Jesus the Christ. Thank You for all of the great gifts and blessings that You have given us and please forgive our sins the same as we forgive the mistakes of others, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

Explain

Dear Lord please be with us this day and may the Holy Spirit please be guiding and protecting us as we go about the business of this day. Please help us bring friends together in peace, and show us where we can explain the peace and freedom from guilt that is available to all who surrender their will for Yours, in Jesus Christ's name we pray. Please forgive our sins as we forgive the mistakes of others, and thank You for all of the great gifts and blessings that You have given us, amen.

KJV*
2Co 8:21 Providing for honest things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men.

1Pe 2:4 To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious,
1Pe 2:5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
1Pe 2:6 Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.
1Pe 2:7 Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,
1Pe 2:8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.
1Pe 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
1Pe 2:10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
1Pe 2:11 Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
1Pe 2:12 Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.

Php 2:15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;

Thoughts of Beauty

Dear Lord please be with us this day and may our thinking and doing be led by the Holy Spirit as we travel this day that You have given us. Please lead us through the beautiful places of thought and give us the opportunity to do things that will add beauty to the thoughts, lives, and memories of others. 1Th 4:10 And indeed ye do it toward all the brethren which are in all Macedonia: but we beseech you, brethren, that ye increase more and more;
1Th 4:11 And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;
1Th 4:12 That ye may walk honestly toward them that are without, and that ye may have lack of nothing.

KJV*
Pr 21:3 To do justice and judgment is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice.

Ec 12:8 Vanity of vanities, saith the preacher; all is vanity.
Ec 12:9 And moreover, because the preacher was wise, he still taught the people knowledge; yea, he gave good heed, and sought out, and set in order many proverbs.
Ec 12:10 The preacher sought to find out acceptable words: and that which was written was upright, even words of truth.
Ec 12:11 The words of the wise are as goads, and as nails fastened by the masters of assemblies, which are given from one shepherd.
Ec 12:12 And further, by these, my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh.
Ec 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

Comfort

Dear Lord please be with us this day and may the Holy Spirit please be guiding and protecting us in all that we say and do. Please help us see ways to bring comfort to others and give support in words of remembered blessings or in the silence of respect and honor. May we be a tool to be used if needed to carve a place to find the comfort of peace and rest during a day in a sometimes cruel world. Thank You for all of the great gifts and blessings that You have given us and please forgive our sins the same as we forgive the mistakes of others, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

Ro 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
Ro 5:2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
Ro 5:3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
Ro 5:4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
Ro 5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

Values

Dear Lord please forgive all of our sins and please help us this day to find the paths to walk in deed and thought that will put us in the company of the Holy Spirit and may we please be guided and protected from the evils of this lustful world all the day long. Dear Lord please show us where to search for value as we live these moments of the time that You have given us, please bring us opportunities to find the values that will flow from the vessels of sincere unselfish friendships, and please lead us to understand that the adversities that threaten these vessels of love only make them of more value. Thank You for all of the great gifts and blessings that You have given us, and please forgive our sins the same as we forgive the mistakes of others, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

Quotation:*
The identifying of values to which we can all give allegiance is a light preliminary exercise before the real and heroic task: to make the values live.  Values have been carved on monuments and spelled out in illuminated manuscripts.  We do not need more of that.  They must be made to live in the acts of men. --John Gardner

KJV*
Job 28:12 But where shall wisdom be found? and where is the place of understanding?
Job 28:13 Man knoweth not the price thereof; neither is it found in the land of the living.

Job 28:28 And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.

Mr 8:36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
Mr 8:37 Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

Mt 13:44 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.
Mt 13:45 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls:
Mt 13:46 Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.

Right Words to Say

Dear Lord please  be with us this day and may we please be guided and protected by the Holy Spirit as the day goes by. Please give us the right words to say as needed when we are conversing with Your children, when the chance to further Your Kingdom is there for us to take advantage of, and the opportunity to feed Your sheep is there for us. Thank You for all of the great gifts and blessings that You have given us and please forgive our sins as we forgive the mistakes of others, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

Quotation:
If you want your neighbor to see what the Christ spirit will do for him, let him see what it has done for you. -H. Beecher

KJV*
 1Pe 5:2 Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;
1Pe 5:3 Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.

2Co 1:24 Not for that we have dominion over your faith, but are helpers of your joy: for by faith ye stand.

Jas 5:10 Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience.
Jas 5:11 Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.

Helping

Dear Lord please be with us this day and may we be guided by the Holy Spirit on this day and may the things that we try to do work out alright and for the best. Please show us things that need to be done to further Your Kingdom and help us to help others to be strong, and give us the courage and strength to help them. Please help us to be unselfish and humble and have motives and priorities based in love as we tread the paths of this day. Thank You for all of the great gifts and blessings that You have given us, and please forgive our sins the same as we forgive the mistakes of others, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

KJV*
1Co 5:7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:
1Co 5:8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

Ps 32:1 Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.
Ps 32:2 Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.

1Pe 2:1 Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,
1Pe 2:2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:
1Pe 2:3 If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.

Blessed Over and Over Again

Dear Lord please be with us this day and may the Holy Spirit please be guiding and protecting us in all that we say and do. Please show us that even when things do not seem to be working out for our best interest, when all is said and done it is obvious that what has happened in our lives was what was part of Your Plan for us and that we have been blessed over and over again. Thank You for all of the great gifts and blessings that You have given us, and please forgive our sins the same as we forgive the mistakes of others, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

KJV*
Ro 8:26  Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
Ro 8:27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
Ro 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Eph 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
Eph 1:4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
Eph 1:5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
Eph 1:6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
Eph 1:7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
Eph 1:8 Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;
Eph 1:9 Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:
Eph 1:10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:
Eph 1:11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
