Motivation

Dear Lord please may our motivation be correct in Your eyes as we conduct our lives in this day that You have given us. Please help us to be guided by the Holy Spirit as we choose the virtues and values to live by, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

Dear Lord please be with us with an attitude of gratitude for all of the great gifts that you have given us. May we not spend our precious time dwelling on what we don't have, but instead let us consider all the people that we have touched in some little way who are in want and need of what we take for granted every day. May we seek them out and give them some of the love that You make available for all of Your children. Dear Lord please be with us and keep us safe on this day. Please protect us from the demons of apathy and procrastination that try to dominate our time creating the bad habits that lead to sadness and depression.Please may the Holy Spirit dominate our thoughts and outsmart the demons with the wisdom and ability to see the path to satisfaction and peace of mind. Dear Lord please be with us this day and may we be healed of our feelings of insecurity. May we show humility and speak with a humble voice without giving in to a feeling of inferiority. Help us to have patience and understanding as we go about the duties of the day and not try to influence how people see us by saying things that don't really show us as God's children. Help us to be messengers of God and show his love to others, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

Dear Lord please be with us this day and may we become prepared to cope with the suddenness of life's emergencies. Help us to absorb the power and energy available in Your Word and total trust in the Holy Spirit. Dear Lord please may this day be one of progress, one that reflects Your influence in our life. May we listen for the Holy Spirit's encouragement and make wise decisions in the things that we say and do on this day that You have given us. Help us to persevere over the difficult times that are full of temptation to fall back in discouragement and see the wonderful plan that You are making possible for us if we only believe it to be ours. Dear Lord please be with us this day and help us to be eager to learn of Your ways. May we have an open mind and approach obstacles with a positive attitude and accept failures or setbacks as learning experiences not defeats. Please may the excitement of searching for a better method of doing something stay with us and our efforts be blessed and guided by the Holy Spirit, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

Priorities

Dear Lord please be with us this day and lead us towards Your Kingdom. We can see busy days ahead of us, please may the Holy Spirit be with us and help us to have the right priorities as we choose the paths through these days. Dear Lord please be with us and may this day be good for us all. As we walk the path of this day may the beauty be what we feel with all of our senses. All around us in nature may we notice the beauty of symmetry and order or the designs of wood grain, spider webs, misty clouds, and wind blown seeds. May we notice the beauty of other people, old and young, loud or still, living as You have designed their lives. Please may Your Divine Beauty overwhelm the evil of this day, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

Dear Lord please be with us this day, guide us and protect us and may we not be led into evil because of selfish and lustful desires and coveting. May the Holy Spirit be our pilot in thought as we move among those in need. Help us to show generosity toward all of Your children no matter what station in life they hold. May we recognize needs other than material such as times of loving companionship, and encouragement through grief and loneliness. May our generosity include giving of ourselves as servants no matter the inconvenience or the discomfort of compliance. In Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.
