Humbleness

Dear Lord please be with us this day and may the Holy Spirit please be guiding and protecting us in all that we say and do on this day. Please teach us the power that can be found in the seat of the humble, and may we not have to be humbled to be taught this lesson. Please bring us to the point of humble wisdom learned from the humble values taught by Jesus the Christ as he told the stories in parables about repentance, forgiveness, and love. Thank You for all of the great gifts and blessings that You have given us and please forgive our sins the same as we forgive the mistakes of others, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

Lu 14:12 Then said he also to him that bade him, When thou makest a dinner or a supper, call not thy friends, nor thy brethren, neither thy kinsmen, nor thy rich neighbours; lest they also bid thee again, and a recompence be made thee.
Lu 14:13 But when thou makest a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind:
Lu 14:14 And thou shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just.

Mr 12:30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
Mr 12:31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
Mr 12:32 And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he:

Please use us as You can to further Your Work and help others as we continue to seek Your Kingdom. Logic

Dear Lord please be with us this day and may the Holy Spirit please be guiding and protecting us all through this day in all that we say and do. Please help us find paths to travel on this day that will be rewarding in both deed and thought, and please give us the opportunity to show others how seeking Your Kingdom can bring us and them into Your Presence as we are exposed to logic that can only come from the faith that Your Peace is real and beyond understanding. Thank You for all of the great gifts and blessings that You have given us, and please forgive our sins the same as we forgive the mistakes of others, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

Quotation:*
If you see a man unterrified in the midst of dangers, untouched by desires, happy in adversity, peaceful amid the storm, will you not say: a divine power has descended upon that man? --Seneca

1Jo 4:19 We love him, because he first loved us.
1Jo 4:20 If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?
1Jo 4:21 And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.

Php 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
Php 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Php 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Positive Side of Life

Dear Lord please be with us this day and may the Holy Spirit please be with us this day guiding and protecting us in all that we say and do. Dear Lord please show us the positive side of life as it unfolds before us on this day and please help us to show others by our examples and stories how positive things can happen in their lives if they but only surrender their will for Yours, and lay down their burdens through forgiveness and repentance, so that Your peace can prevail for us all. Thank You for all of the great gifts and blessings that You have given us, and please forgive our sins the same as we forgive the mistakes of others, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

Mt 11:30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

1Jo 5:1 Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.
1Jo 5:2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
1Jo 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
1Jo 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
1Jo 5:5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

Temptation

Dear Lord please be with us this day and may the Holy Spirit please be guiding and protecting us all through this day in all that we say and do. Please lead us to paths that we might tread into the doing of Your Work as we seek Your Kingdom on this day. Please help us display our blessings with humility and as a humble witness of Your caring love for us. Please forgive our selfishness and coveting greed when we stray to paths where the treading is dangerous because of pitfalls and traps laid out before us by the evil lusting song of temptation for worldly lives and goods. Thank You for all of the great gifts and blessings that You have given us and please forgive our sins the same as we forgive the mistakes of others, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.
