Encouragement

Dear Lord thank You for all of the great gifts that You have given us and please forgive our sins as we forgive the sins of others. May the Holy Spirit please be with us this day in every thought and deed and please use us to further the coming of Your Kingdom. Help us to have love in our motives as we deal with others and please show us where to give encouragement and where to take encouragement as we tread the paths that Your plans for us provide. Please help us to show wisdom and have good judgement in the decisions that we make on this day, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

Lu 12:29 And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.
Lu 12:30 For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.
Lu 12:31 But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.

In Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

Disappointment

Dear Lord please be with us this day and may the Holy Spirit guide and protect us in every deed and thought of this day. Please help us choose paths that will prepare us for witness for the sake of those who may be seeking Your Kingdom. Thank You for all of the great gifts that You have given us and please forgive our sins as we forgive the mistakes of others. Please lead us to understand the difference between having all that we need with peace of mind from living with simplicity, or trying to cope with a world of lustful greed and envy, full of disappointment and misplaced allegiance to a selfish creed. Please help us to live by the golden rule, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

Please lead us into opportunities to demonstrate wisdom and when we are misled by selfish motives may the results be humbling lessons of the truths that Jesus taught and still teaches this day to those who will listen. Please show us that the more seeds of love that we sow, the larger the harvest of peace and joy that will surround us. In Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

Jas 1:26 If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.
Jas 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

Trust

Dear Lord please be with us this day and may the Holy Spirit please guide and protect us, leading us down paths that will help us grow spiritually into true disciples and doers of Your Word. Please help us to trust others as we would want to be trusted, and to enjoy living with all of Your children that we may encounter on the paths that we may tread this day, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

Quotation:*

Workers

Dear Lord please be with us this day and may the Holy Spirit please be with us guiding and protecting us in every deed and thought from the temptations of a lustful world of sin that is growing out of Your creation like a weed in a garden. Please Dear Lord use us as workers and tools to cultivate and prune Your creation into the Kingdom that Your Will dictates from the teaching and Love of Jesus Christ. In Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

Quotation:*
There are two changeless sources of solid happiness: first, the belief in God, and second, the habit of hard work toward useful ends. -Willard

KJV*
Pr 11:30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.

Jas 5:20 Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.

1Ti 4:15 Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.

1Ti 4:16 Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.

2Co 9:6 But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.

Isa 6:8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

Threads of Truth

Dear Lord please be with us this day and please may the Holy Spirit guide and protect us this day in every deed and thought. Please may the Holy Spirit enlighten us in our thinking , not to conform with what is tradition to believe, but what the threads of truth found in scripture are loudly screaming for all to understand about the Humble Unselfish Love taught by Jesus Christ. In Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

Quotation:*
O Lord, help us not to despite or oppose what we do not understand. --William Penn

KJV*
1Ti 1:4 Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do.
1Ti 1:5 Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:
1Ti 1:6 From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling;
1Ti 1:7 Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm.

2Ti 2:14 Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers.
2Ti 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Pattern of Christ

Dear Lord please be with us this day and please help us to be able to accept this day as it unfolds, and accept the people as they are expressing themselves to us. Please may the Holy Spirit give us the patience to have the understanding that we cannot expect all things and people to conform to the shapes that fit our mindset at the time. Please help us to have unconditional love and forgiveness for others as if to fit the pattern that Jesus Christ made for us to follow and conform to. In Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

Quotation:*
Instead of allowing yourself to be so unhappy, just let your love grow as God wants it to grow; seek goodness in others, love more persons more; love them more impersonally, more unselfishly, without thought of return.  The return, never fear, will take care of itself. -Drummond

KJV*
Joh 13:34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
Joh 13:35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

1Ti 1:16 Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.

Deeds

Dear Lord please be with us this day and may the Holy Spirit please guide us in deed and thought  and make a pleasing time out of the day with a feeling of satisfaction from what deeds and thoughts we have accomplished with Your gifts and blessings. Please lead us to be generous and unselfish in our actions and find ways of being an avenue for others to seek Your Kingdom and surrender their will for Yours. In Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

Pr 20:11 Even a child is known by his doings, whether his work be pure, and whether it be right.
Pr 20:12 The hearing ear, and the seeing eye, the LORD hath made even both of them.

Jas 1:23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
Jas 1:24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
Jas 1:25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
