Traditional Hate and Greed

Dear Lord please be with us this day and may the Holy Spirit please be guiding and protecting us all through this day in all that we say and do as we seek Your Kingdom. Dear Lord please show us avenues of thought and action that will travel around, over, and under any and all obstacles that may separate us from the Love of Jesus the Christ, and the Truths of Love that He teaches. Please keep ancient traditions and prejudices still existing in our patterns of thought, and feeding values of hate and greed into the world as tho they were honorable and patriotic, from being the dominant power in our world. Thank You for all of the great gifts and blessings that You have given us, and please forgive our sins the same as we forgive the mistakes of others, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

Profit of Better Understanding

Dear Lord please be with us this day and may the Holy Spirit please be guiding and protecting us in all that we say and do. Please lead us on paths of discovery and enlightenment as Your Word and Your Creation becomes more important to us every day. Please show us how to weigh the words of others and interact with respect and an open mind for the views of different cultures and beliefs, as we gain in the strength and purpose of our own commitments with the profit of better understanding. Thank You for all of the great gifts and blessings that You have given us and please forgive our sins the same as we forgive the mistakes of others, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

Pr 18:15 The heart of the prudent getteth knowledge; and the ear of the wise seeketh knowledge.

Pr 24:3 Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established:
Pr 24:4 And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches.
Pr 24:5 A wise man is strong; yea, a man of knowledge increaseth strength.

1Co 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
1Co 2:10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
1Co 2:11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
1Co 2:12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
1Co 2:13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
1Co 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
1Co 2:15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.
