What Values and Priorites to Choose

Dear Lord please be with us this day and may Your Holy Spirit please be guiding and protecting us in every thing that we say and do. Dear Lord please show us what values and priorities to choose as our needs become more obvious and it becomes harder to keep a positive attitude. Dear Lord please take control and guide us in Your Infinite Divine Wisdom, please keep us from treading paths that insist on giving control of our lives over to money and what it can buy. Thank You for all of the great gifts and blessings and protection that You have given us and please forgive our sins the same as we forgive the mistakes of others, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

Quotation:*
Money is a good servant but a dangerous master.  -Bouhours

KJV*
Mt 22:36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
Mt 22:37  Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
Mt 22:38 This is the first and great commandment.
Mt 22:39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Mt 22:40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Lu 12:15 And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.
Lu 12:16 And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully:
Lu 12:17 And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits?
Lu 12:18 And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods.
Lu 12:19 And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry.
Lu 12:20 But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?
Lu 12:21 So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.

Lu 16:13 No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Ro 8:27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
Ro 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

2Co 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

Php 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Php 4:20 Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Joh 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
Joh 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Jas 1:4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
Jas 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

Acceptance Not Bitterness

Dear Lord please be with us this day and may Your Holy Spirit please guide and protect us in every thing that we say and do. Dear Lord please may this be a good day and may the things that we try to do work out alright and for the best. Please give us the patience and understanding to accept things as they should be accepted and lead us away from any attitude of bitterness over hardships that are out of our control. Thank You for all of the great gifts and blessings and protection that You have given us and please forgive our sins the same as we forgive the mistakes of others, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

Jas 3:13 Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.
Jas 3:14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.
Jas 3:15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.
Jas 3:16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
Jas 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
Jas 3:18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

Walking With You

Dear Lord please be with us this day and may Your Holy Spirit please be guiding and protecting us in everything that we say and do. Dear Lord please may we not be critical of others in their walk with You and their understanding, or lack thereof in the way we understand and interpret where they are in their walk with You. Please lead us to examples of harmony and humble love for all, with out stipulations that others walk in step with us, but please just let us continue to search and seek Your Kingdom and not be judging Your other children as if that is why we were created, when in reality we were created to Glorify You and enjoy You forever. Jas 1:6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
Jas 1:7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
Jas 1:8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
Jas 1:9  Let the brother of low degree rejoice in that he is exalted:

Out of the Darkness

Dear Lord please be with us this day and may Your Holy Spirit please be guiding and protecting us in every thing that we say and do. Dear Lord please help us to listen to the urging of Your Holy Spirit instead of the urging of the worldly temptations that would have us lusting after worldly values of hate and greed that would destroy us in the disappointments of broken hearts and the unnecessary worries about worldly treasures that have no lasting and true values. Please bring us out of the darkness and into Your Light so that we might see the Truths that are taught by Jesus Christ. Thank You for all of the great gifts and blessings and protection that You have given us and please forgive our sins the same as we forgive the mistakes of others, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

KJV*
Mt 6:19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
Mt 6:20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
Mt 6:21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
Mt 6:22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.
Mt 6:23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!
Mt 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Charity and Peace

Dear Lord please be with us this day and please may the Holy Spirit guide us and protect us and lead us not into the temptation of greed and covetousness. Dear Lord please may we be led into the attitude of charity and peace with our brothers and sisters where opportunities to demonstrate a life with Christ based unselfish love can be so blessed as ours as we seek Your Kingdom. Please dear Lord may we not become self righteous or of the mind that we have earned our gifts and blessings, but may we always remember that it is only by Your Grace that we even breathe. Thank You for all of the great gifts and blessings that You have given us and please forgive our sins the same as we forgive the mistakes of others, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.
