Freedom

Dear Lord please be with us this day and help us have patience with others on this day that You have given us to use as we see fit. Please help us to understand that the freedom we have as to how to use this day is necessary for us to be able to seek the Kingdom of God. Help us understand that we can have the guidance of the Holy Spirit but we are free to not follow this guidance, and we won't always follow this guidance even though we know in our innermost being that we should. Help us see that we are God's children not his puppets and that is why we must stay in active communication with the Lord through prayer and meditation and seeking His Kingdom is a path that requires the discipline of virtues found when we surrender our will to His. In Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

KJV
Ps 51:12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.

Isa 55:1 Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.

Ga 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

Eph 6:6 Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;

Col 3:23 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;

Jas 1:25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
