Ignorance

Dear Lord please be with us this day and may the Holy Spirit please be with us guiding and protecting us in all that we say and do. Please help us find paths to walk on this day that will make us see the positive things and blessings in our lives. Please may we not fall into a worldly pit of remorse over the actions of others, and the ignorant lines of thought that always seem to be generated by those who are walking the worldly paths of hate and greed. Please may the paths we find to walk on this day take us into a garden of righteousness where we may lay down our burdens and find rest from this world in the knowledge that You will forgive our sins as we forgive the mistakes of others, and that You will deliver us from evil. In Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

Quotation:*
It is worse still to be ignorant of your ignorance. -Saint Jerome

KJV*
Lu 23:34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.

Mt 5:43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
Mt 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
Mt 5:45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
Mt 5:46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?
Mt 5:47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?
Mt 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

Jas 1:2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
Jas 1:3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
Jas 1:4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
Jas 1:5  If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
