Humble Love

Dear Lord please be with us this day and may we be protected and guided by the Holy Spirit as we travel the paths of this day. As we consider our choices that we make, both before and after we make them, let us ask ourselves what motivated our decisions? How much of our day is guided and directed by what amount of value, in money, is going to be moved to or away from us? How much of our day is made up of choices made out of unselfish thinking as to how are our actions going to effect the lives of others, and be in their best interest? Thank You for all of the great gifts that You have given us, and please forgive our sins just as we forgive the mistakes of others, and please lead us to show humble love as servants in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

KJV*
1Ti 6:9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
1Ti 6:10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
1Ti 6:11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
1Ti 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
