Virtues

Dear Lord please forgive all of our sins the same as we forgive the mistakes of others and may the Holy Spirit please be guiding and protecting us on this day in all that we say and do. Please lead us on paths that we can follow without fear or dread of consequences as we seek Your Kingdom and interact with Your children. Please give us the patience  of humble love to help us find virtues of tolerance and kindness in all of our actions on this day, and may peace of mind be ours at the day's end, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

KJV*
Jas 1:2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
Jas 1:3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
Jas 1:4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

Php 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.
Php 4:5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
Php 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
Php 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Php 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

I like that you always pray "as we forgive the mistakes of others." Getting ourselves into the mindset of viewing other peoples' failings as mistakes rather than sins brings us into the right attitude, loving one another regardless, and leaving the judgement to Him. I wish everyone saw it that way.
