Dear Lord please be with us this day and may the Holy Spirit prevent us from straying off of the paths that would lead to Your Kingdom where positive virtues abound. Please direct our thoughts to avenues of humble love, wisdom, and understanding. Please show us how to sacrifice our pride filled egotistical, opinionated, and lust filled world, and seek the simple joys of Your Kingdom. Please give us the strength necessary to keep from being led into the temptation to seek the kingdom of lust and false satisfaction where peace and joy always seem to be just one material wish away. In Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.
