Dear Lord please be with us on this day and please give us understanding of competition. May we not be deterred from trying to do things that we feel weak at accomplishing any greatness in. Please may the Holy Spirit give us insight and desires that enable us to enjoy doing all things in the name of the Lord and not be limited by feelings of inferior abilities and lack of talent. Please may competition be to us only a tool to show us that better is possible, not a weapon to show us as being unworthy children of God. In Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.
