Dear Lord please be with us and may this be a good day and may the things that we try to do work out alright and for the best. Please give us patience with ourselves and with others as we struggle with our inabilities to do what is required to excel physically or our inability to keep our personality in check and keep from losing our temper over something insignificant and causing pain where it should not be. Please may the Holy Spirit control our thoughts and deeds when our pride is trying to prevail, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.
