Dear Lord please be with us this day and please guide and protect us from giving in to the many temptations that seem to be at every turn of every path that we have to tread on a normal day as we live this life that has been molded around decisions from our past encounters with these same temptations. Please give us the strength we need to follow the Holy Spirit's leading to dealing with these temptations with wisdom and compassion for ourselves as well as compassion for others. Please help us to have self esteem and confidence in our self worth and ability to do all things that we are inspired and led to do by the Holy Spirit, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.
