To Seek Wisdom From Above

Dear Lord please be with us this day and please may Your Holy Spirit be guiding and protecting us in every thing that we say and do. Thank You for all of the great gifts and the blessings and the protection that You give us and please forgive our sins the same as we forgive the mistakes of others.

Dear Lord please lead us into areas of kindness and protective caregiving as we mix and mingle with Your Children while seeking Your Kingdom among the temptations of this world and please help us grow as we partake of the nourishment that is in Your Word, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

1Co 3:2 I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.

1Co 3:3 For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?

Jas 3:16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.

Jas 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

In these verses, James is emphasizing the contrast between earthly wisdom, characterized by envy and strife, which leads to confusion and evil deeds, and divine wisdom, which is pure, peaceable, gentle, merciful, and sincere. James encourages his readers to seek and embrace the wisdom that comes from above, as it fosters positive qualities and actions.

1Pe 2:2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:
