To Reconcile

Dear Lord please be with us this day and please may Your Holy Spirit be guiding and protecting us in every thing that we say and do. Thank You for all of the great gifts and the blessings and the protection that You give us and please forgive our sins the same as we forgive the mistakes of others.

Dear Lord please lead us into harmless paths as we mix and mingle with Your Children in Your Creation and please leave us not with power to do harm and not with power to intrude and not to hurt others while we attempt to realign our allegiance to values and priorities away from the prideful feelings of victory for what we are favorable of , but the power of Love over hate, and good over evil as we all are seeking Your Kingdom, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

Quotations:*

There is a law that man should love his neighbor as himself.  In a few hundred years it should be as natural to mankind as breathing or the upright gait; but if he does not learn it he must perish. --Alfred Adler

Love is the doorway through which the human soul passes from selfishness to service and from solitude to kinship with all mankind. -Anonymous

If we work upon marble, it will perish.  If we work upon brass, time will efface it. If we rear temples, they will crumble to dust.  But, if we work upon men's immortal minds, if we imbue them with high principles, with the just fear of God, with love of their fellow men, we engrave on those tablets something which no time can efface and which will brighten and brighten to all eternity. --Daniel

KJV*

Mr 12:28 And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all?

Mr 12:29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:

Mr 12:30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

Mr 12:31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

Mr 12:32 And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he:

Mr 12:33 And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.

Mr 12:34 And when Jesus saw that he answered discreetly, he said unto him, Thou art not far from the kingdom of God. And no man after that durst ask him any question.
