Out of the Darkness

Dear Lord please be with us this day and may Your Holy Spirit please be guiding and protecting us in every thing that we say and do. Dear Lord please help us to listen to the urging of Your Holy Spirit instead of the urging of the worldly temptations that would have us lusting after worldly values of hate and greed that would destroy us in the disappointments of broken hearts and the unnecessary worries about worldly treasures that have no lasting and true values. Please bring us out of the darkness and into Your Light so that we might see the Truths that are taught by Jesus Christ. Thank You for all of the great gifts and blessings and protection that You have given us and please forgive our sins the same as we forgive the mistakes of others, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

Mt 6:20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: 
Mt 6:21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. 
Mt 6:22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. 
Mt 6:23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness! 
Mt 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
