Traditional Hate and Greed

Dear Lord please be with us this day and may the Holy Spirit please be guiding and protecting us all through this day in all that we say and do as we seek Your Kingdom. Dear Lord please show us avenues of thought and action that will travel around, over, and under any and all obstacles that may separate us from the Love of Jesus the Christ, and the Truths of Love that He teaches. Please keep ancient traditions and prejudices still existing in our patterns of thought, and feeding values of hate and greed into the world as tho they were honorable and patriotic, from being the dominant power in our world. Thank You for all of the great gifts and blessings that You have given us, and please forgive our sins the same as we forgive the mistakes of others, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

Quotation:*
There is a law that man should love his neighbor as himself.  In a few hundred years it should be as natural to mankind as breathing or the upright gait; but if he does not learn it he must perish. -
-Alfred Adler

KJV*
Pr 15:16 Better is little with the fear of the LORD than great treasure and trouble therewith.
Pr 15:17 Better is a dinner of herbs where love is, than a stalled ox and hatred therewith.

Mr 12:30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
Mr 12:31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
Mr 12:32 And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he:
Mr 12:33 And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.
Mr 12:34 And when Jesus saw that he answered discreetly, he said unto him, Thou art not far from the kingdom of God. And no man after that durst ask him any question.
