Misunderstood Words

Dear Lord please be with us this day and please may the Holy Spirit be guiding and protecting us in all things on this day. Please give us the right words to say as we try to communicate our true feelings to others and may we not stumble into saying words that can be misunderstood and cause our true feelings to seem different and selfish rather than humble and unselfish and full of love for those who hear them. Thank You for all of the great gifts and blessings that You have given us, and please forgive our sins the same as we forgive the mistakes of others, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

KJV*
Ec 10:12 The words of a wise man's mouth are gracious; but the lips of a fool will swallow up himself.
Ec 10:13 The beginning of the words of his mouth is foolishness: and the end of his talk is mischievous madness.

Isa 50:4 The Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned.

Pr 15:23 A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth: and a word spoken in due season, how good is it!
Pr 25:11 A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver.

Jas 3:2 For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.
