Sheep

Dear Lord please be with us this day and please give us the insight necessary to understand Your Word, and may we see ourselves and others as helpless sheep in need of the care from the Shepherd who has the power to supply all our needs. If we can but imagine the trauma of being wet and cold in the mud, thorns, and stones ready to surrender to death, being raised up by a Power beyond our understanding, and being given a Peace of mind beyond our comprehension, if we only relax and surrender our will for the Shepherds. In Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

KJV
Ps 79:13 So we thy people and sheep of thy pasture will give thee thanks for ever: we will shew forth thy praise to all generations.

Mt 18:11 For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.
Mt 18:12 How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray?
Mt 18:13 And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray.
Mt 18:14 Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.

Ps 23:1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
Ps 23:2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
Ps 23:3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Ps 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Ps 23:5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Ps 23:6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
