Dear Lord please help us to have the right values and priorities on this day and may the Holy Spirit guide and protect us in every thought and deed all day long. Please give us the confidence to face what we must, and help us do it with a compassion that will inspire others to seek to be closer to You in their thoughts and deeds, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.
