Dear Lord please be with us this day and please guide and protect us from stray thoughts of malcontent and discouragement. Please may the Holy Spirit guide us and remind us to count our blessings and turn a gloomy day into one of rejoicing and appreciation for all of the great gifts that we have received. Please show us places on this day that we can lead others to count their blessings and find the place in their day where the warmth of love is waiting for them to draw near. In Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.
