Listening

Dear Lord please may this be a good day and may we have empathy for others and try to listen with understanding as they relate their stories. May we celebrate with their joy, weep with their grief, and be unselfish to their needs. In Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

KJV
Pr 17:27 He that hath knowledge spareth his words: and a man of understanding is of an excellent spirit.
Pr 17:28 Even a fool, when he holdeth his peace, is counted wise: and he that shutteth his lips is esteemed a man of understanding.
2Ti 2:7 Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things.

Man is always inclined to be intolerant toward the thing, or person, he hasn't taken time adequately to understand. -Brown, Power Bible CD
