Confronting Evil

Dear Lord please be with us this day and please may Your Holy Spirit be guiding and protecting us in every thing that we say and do. Thank You for all of the great gifts and blessings and protection that You give us and please forgive our sins the same as we forgive the mistakes of others.
Dear Lord please lead us into paths of wise action as we must make decisions while dealing with Your Children and please help us choose the things to do and say that we will not be sorry for as time goes by.
Dear Lord please give us thoughts that will be useful as we must defend the things from Your Word that we believe are being ignored as people move on into defending worldly values of hate and greed.
Dear Lord please give us the strength and perseverance that we need to do and say the right things as we confront the evil around us, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.
