Seeking God's Kingdom

Dear Lord please be with us this day and may the Holy Spirit please be guiding and protecting us in all that we say and do. Please keep our thoughts and deeds on paths of unselfish values and motives that will lead us into Your presence as a daily routine that is part of seeking Your Kingdom. Thank You for all of the great gifts and blessings that You have given us and please forgive our sins the same as we forgive the sins of others, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

Quotation:*
One must reach the point of not caring two straws about his own status before he can wish wholly for God's kingdom, not his own, to be established. --C.S. Lewis

KJV*
Mt 6:31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
Mt 6:32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
Mt 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Mt 6:34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Php 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.
Php 4:5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
Php 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
Php 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Php 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
