Dear Lord please be with us this day and may we have ears to hear the Holy Spirit as we are led and encouraged throughout the day. Please help us to choose wisely when we have opportunities to say and do things that might effect others in choosing their thoughts and deeds. Dear Lord please guide us especially in seeing that it might be better to say and do nothing than to seek glory by what we say and do, and wish later that we had done nothing. Please bless us with wisdom, understanding, and compassion, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.
