Blessed

Dear Lord please be with us this day and may the Holy Spirit guide us into the understanding of wealth and poverty. Help us see that true wealth is in being needed by others, and being able to share love with others. True wealth is not measured in possessions that we may covet until we attain them, but in righteousness and peace of mind as we seek the Kingdom of God. Poverty can be avoided by sharing burdens and hardships with our neighbors, and living by the golden rule. In Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

Quotation:*
Wherever God rules over the human heart as King, there is the kingdom of God established. -Harrison

KJV*
Lu 6:20 And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said, Blessed be ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God.

Mt 6:31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
Mt 6:32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
Mt 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Mt 6:34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
