Dear Lord please be with us this day and may we listen to the Holy Spirit as we travel the paths of the day. May we not react rashly to circumstances and speak words that will hurt others or cause more rash reactions. Help us to be guided by the Holy Spirit to wisdom and patience that will influence others not to be rash in their reactions. In Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.
