To Find The Wisdom Of Jesus

Dear Lord please be with us this day and please may Your Holy Spirit be guiding and protecting us in every thing that we say and do. Thank You for all of the great gifts and the blessings and the protection that You give us and please forgive our sins the same as we forgive the mistakes of others.

Dear Lord please show us how to find and use the wisdom that is in Your Teachings so that we may not make problems where they are not and how we may lead those of Your Children into prosperity while seeking Your Kingdom among the temptations of this world, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

Mt 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Mt 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

Mt 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Mt 7:24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

Mt 7:25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

Mt 7:26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:

Mt 7:27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

Mt 7:28 And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:

Mt 7:29 For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.

Lesson: This final verse of the passage highlights the authority and uniqueness of Jesus' teachings. His words had a profound impact on the listeners because He spoke with divine authority, unlike the religious teachers of that time. The lesson here is to recognize Jesus' teachings as a source of ultimate truth and guidance.

In summary, the lessons from Matthew 7:21-29 include the importance of genuine faith and obedience, the necessity of building one's life on a strong foundation of following Christ's teachings, and the recognition of Jesus' authority in matters of faith and spirituality. These lessons encourage a deeper, more authentic relationship with God and a commitment to living out His principles in daily life.
