To Be Unselfish And Humble

Dear Lord please be with us this day and please may Your Holy Spirit be guiding and protecting us in every thing that we say and do. Thank You for all of the great gifts and the blessings and the protection that You give us and please forgive our sins the same as we forgive the mistakes of others.

Dear Lord please show us where to stand so that we may live in humility and be humble about the goals that we set as we mix and mingle with Your Children while seeking Your Kingdom and please help us spend the times of thought and deed away from trying to improve the thoughts and deeds of others but only in improving ourselves in our knowledge and actions, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

KJV*

Mt 18:3 and said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye turn, and become as little children, ye shall in no wise enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Mt 18:4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

Mt 18:5 And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me:

Mt 18:6 But whoso shall cause one of these little ones that believe on me to stumble, it is profitable for him that a great millstone should be hanged about his neck, and that he should be sunk in the depth of the sea.

Mt 18:7 Woe unto the world because of occasions of stumbling! for it must needs be that the occasions come; but woe to that man through whom the occasion cometh!

1Co 11:19 For there must be also factions among you, that they that are approved may be made manifest among you.

1Co 11:20 When therefore ye assemble yourselves together, it is not possible to eat the Lord's supper:

1Co 11:21 for in your eating each one taketh before other his own supper; and one is hungry, and another is drunken.

1Co 11:22 What, have ye not houses to eat and to drink in? or despise ye the church of God, and put them to shame that have not? What shall I say to you? shall I praise you? In this I praise you not.

1Co 10:32 Give no occasions of stumbling, either to Jews, or to Greeks, or to the church of God:

1Co 10:33 even as I also please all men in all things, not seeking mine own profit, but the profit of the many, that they may be saved.
