The Plight Of The Poor

Dear Lord please be with us this day and please may Your Holy Spirit be guiding and protecting us in every thing that we say and do. Thank You for all of the great gifts and the blessings and the protection that You give us and please forgive our sins the same as we forgive the mistakes of others.

Dear Lord please lead us into days of interesting thought and discoveries of insight as we consider Your Creation and the significant trails through the history of Your Word and Your Teachings, as we mix and mingle with Your Children while seeking Your Kingdom among the temptations of this world even as we see how obvious some of the revealing Truths are to behold and how wonderful Your Wisdom is to behold as we observe the truths that are embedded always in the plight of the poor. But how to uncover this knowledge?

KJV*

De 15:11 For the poor shall never cease out of the land: therefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy brother, to thy poor, and to thy needy, in thy land.

De 15:12 And if thy brother, an Hebrew man, or an Hebrew woman, be sold unto thee, and serve thee six years; then in the seventh year thou shalt let him go free from thee.

De 15:13 And when thou sendest him out free from thee, thou shalt not let him go away empty:

De 15:14 Thou shalt furnish him liberally out of thy flock, and out of thy floor, and out of thy winepress: of that wherewith the LORD thy God hath blessed thee thou shalt give unto him.

Pr 10:20 The tongue of the just is as choice silver: the heart of the wicked is little worth.

Pr 10:21 The lips of the righteous feed many: but fools die for want of wisdom.

Pr 10:22 The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.

Pr 10:23 It is as sport to a fool to do mischief: but a man of understanding hath wisdom.

Pr 10:24 The fear of the wicked, it shall come upon him: but the desire of the righteous shall be granted.

Pr 10:25 As the whirlwind passeth, so is the wicked no more: but the righteous is an everlasting foundation.

Pr 10:26 As vinegar to the teeth, and as smoke to the eyes, so is the sluggard to them that send him.

Pr 10:27 The fear of the LORD prolongeth days: but the years of the wicked shall be shortened.

Pr 10:28 The hope of the righteous shall be gladness: but the expectation of the wicked shall perish.

Pr 10:29 The way of the LORD is strength to the upright: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity.

Pr 10:30 The righteous shall never be removed: but the wicked shall not inhabit the earth.

Pr 10:31 The mouth of the just bringeth forth wisdom: but the froward tongue shall be cut out.

Pr 10:32 The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable: but the mouth of the wicked speaketh frowardness.

Joh 12:8 For the poor always ye have with you; but me ye have not always.
