To Live Away From Strife

Dear Lord please be with us this day and please may Your Holy Spirit be guiding and protecting us in every thing that we say and do. Thank You for all of the great gifts and blessings and the protection that You give us and please forgive our sins the same as we forgive the mistakes of others.
Dear Lord please lead us away from paths where the dictation to fulfilling our needs is to overcome the neighbors needs by fulfilling our own as though we were still animals with the carnal urges of competition.
Dear Lord please lead us into paths of generosity and caring for our neighbor's needs as tho they were our own as we mix and mingle with Your Children in Your Creation while we seek Your Kingdom, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

Quotation:*
Competition, founded upon the conflicting interests of individuals, is in reality far less productive of wealth and enterprise than cooperation, involving though it does the constant apparent sacrifice of the individual to the common interests. --R.H. Benson

Ps 133:1 ¶ <> Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!
Ps 133:2 It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;
Ps 133:3 As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.

Ge 13:8 And Abram said unto Lot, Let there be no strife, I pray thee, between me and thee, and between my herdmen and thy herdmen; for we be brethren.

1Co 3:3 For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?

Jas 3:13 Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.
Jas 3:14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.
Jas 3:15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.
Jas 3:16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
Jas 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
Jas 3:18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

Mt 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
