To Find Understanding

Dear Lord please be with us this day and please may Your Holy Spirit be guiding and protecting us in every thing that we say and do. Thank You for all of the great gifts and blessings and the protection that You give us and please forgive our sins the same as we forgive the mistakes of others.
Dear Lord please bring us into paths of learning and understanding from the Scripture that we find that is pertinent to the positions that we find ourselves in as we mix and mingle with Your Children in Your Creation as we seek Your Kingdom, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

Quotation:*
A walking or breathing commentary goeth infinitely beyond the written or spoken commentary. ~ Joseph Caryl

IT is easy to paddle in a clear stream till it runs muddily, but it will not be for any man’s ease or peace to do so in the clear, crystal streams of the holy Scriptures. We should labour to deliver our minds plainly concerning the mind of God, that what we utter may not be found a darkening of his counsel, but as much as is in us a clearing of it.

KJV*
Ps 119:103 How sweet are thy words unto my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth!
Ps 119:104 Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.

Ps 119:128 Therefore I esteem all thy precepts concerning all things to be right; and I hate every false way.

Ps 119:130 The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.

Pr 1:4 To give subtilty to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion.
Pr 1:5 A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:
Pr 1:6 To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings.
Pr 1:7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
