Patiently Waiting

Dear Lord please lead us into paths of understanding on this day so that we may live in communion of thought and mind with others and perform deeds that will help to further Your Kingdom in our midst.
Dear Lord please may Your Holy Spirit be guiding and protecting us in every thing that we say and do and please lead us away from struggles for power or recognition and please show us avenues that will lead into peace and tranquility and please condition us into patience so that we can wait with a settled down attitude of complacency, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

Quotation:*
There is one form of hope which is never unwise, and which certainly does not diminish with the increase of knowledge.  In that form it changes its name and we call it patience. -Bulwer-Lytton

KJV*
1Th 5:14 Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.
1Th 5:15 See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.

Jas 1:2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
Jas 1:3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
Jas 1:4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
Jas 1:5  If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
