Dear Lord please be with us today and may this day be one that we can cherish when it is gone past. May we not be in a hurry for our will to be met, but be able to wait for Yours. May our selfish ego not be our driving force even tho we are in our eyes doing as You would want under the circumstances we find ourselves in. Help us to prayerfully wait with patience for you to take control even if it doesn't seem to be happening, and may our ego learn to forgo the seeking of recognition and glory.

37:7 ¶ Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. 37:8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil. 37:9 For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.
