To Forgive As We Ask For Forgiveness

Dear Lord please be with us this day and please may Your Holy Spirit be guiding and protecting us in every thing that we say and do. Thank You for all of the great gifts and the blessings and the protection that You give us and please forgive our sins the same as we forgive the mistakes of others.

Dear Lord please lead us into wise consideration and actions within the boundaries of a good and meek work of love and harmless show of patience with limited need for restraint of knowledge and abundant ability to listen for direction from Your Holy Spirit as we mix and mingle with Your Children in Your Creation while seeking Your Kingdom among the temptations of this world.

Quotation:*

The ministry of kindness is a ministry which may be achieved by all men, rich and poor, learned and illiterate.  Brilliance of mind and capacity for deep thinking has rendered great service to humanity, but by themselves they are unable to dry a tear or mend a broken heart. -Anonymous

Little deeds of kindness, little words of love, help to make earth happy, like the heavenabove. -Carney

 There is nothing so kingly as kindness. -Cary

 Great persons are able to do great kindnesses. -Cervantes

 Kind words are the music of the world.  They have a power which seems to be beyond natural causes, as if they were some angel's song which had lost its way and come on earth.  It seems as if they could almost do what in reality God alone can do-soften the hard and angry hearts of men.  No one was ever corrected by a sarcasm-crushed, perhaps, if the sarcasm was clever enough, but drawn nearer to God, never. -Faber

There is a grace of kind listening, as well as a grace of kind speaking. -Faber

 Kindness has converted more sinners than zeal, eloquence or learning. -Faber

 Kindness is the golden chain by which society is bound together. -Goethe

 Wise sayings often fall on barren ground; but a kind word is never thrown away. -Helps

KJV:*

Eph 4:32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

Col 3:12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;

Col 3:13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.

Col 3:14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
