Traps of Vanity

Dear Lord please be with us this day and please may Your Holy Spirit be guiding and protecting us in every thing that we say and do. Thank You for all of the great gifts and blessings and protection that You give us and please forgive our sins the same as we forgive the mistakes of others.
Dear Lord please lead us away from traps that can be caused by vain thoughts and the vanity that goes with the worldly hate and greed that is prevalent in the world as we strive to get ahead and fulfill our dreams that may not be derived from generosity or the love of honest and pure love based on the love from the Holy Spirit's care and guidance, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.
