Betterment After Time

Dear Lord please be with us this day and may Your Holy Spirit please be guiding and protecting us in every thing that we say and do. Thank You for all of the great gifts and blessings and protection that You give us and please forgive our sins the same as we forgive the mistakes of others.
Dear Lord please lead us into steps of good value and common sense as we go about our business on this day and please help us accentuate the positive aspects of all beauty that we find on our paths as we use the time that You give us in Your Creation, please may it be to the betterment, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

Quotation:*
God created time and gave it to us.  It is his fundamental gift, for all other gifts are conditioned upon it.  Why should we give it so grudgingly to his service?  Why should we not lavish time upon the things that God knows and we know are the vital things? -Rountree

Ps 90:15 Make us glad according to the days wherein thou hast afflicted us, and the years wherein we have seen evil.
Ps 90:16 Let thy work appear unto thy servants, and thy glory unto their children.
Ps 90:17 And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.
