Patience and Perseverance

Dear Lord please be with us this day and may Your Holy Spirit please be guiding and protecting us in every thing that we say and do. Thank You Dear Lord for all of the great gifts and blessings and protection that You give us and please forgive our sins the same as we forgive the mistakes of others.
Dear Lord please lead us into paths of patience and perseverance on this day and please lead us into instruction by experience so that we may see positive actions and thinking growing in our lives as we learn how to wait for You to answer our prayers and please teach us how to show others even as we learn ourselves that Your Love for us will overcome the evils of the world. In Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

Quotations:*
There is no royal road to anything.  One thing at a time, all things in succession.  That which grows fast withers as rapidly; that which grows slowly endures. -J.G. Holland

True grace lives, and therefore it must needs grow. The grain of mustard seed proves a great tree. ~ Joseph Caryl

KJV*
Ac 20:24 But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

Ga 6:1 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.
Ga 6:2 Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
Ga 6:3 For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.
Ga 6:4 But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.
Ga 6:5 For every man shall bear his own burden.
Ga 6:6 Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.
Ga 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.  Ga 6:8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
Ga 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
Ga 6:10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

Ro 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Ro 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
Ro 8:3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
Ro 8:4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Ro 8:5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
Ro 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
Ro 8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
Ro 8:8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
Ro 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

Ro 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
