Not to Attract Attention

Dear Lord please be with us this day and please may Your Holy Spirit be guiding and protecting us in every thing that we say and do. Thank You for all of the great gifts and blessings and protection that You give us and please forgive our sins the same as we forgive the mistakes of others.
Dear Lord please lead us into paths away from temptations to blow our trumpets and bring attention to our actions as we mix with Your Children attempting to represent Your Word as we understand Your Commandments to be implemented in all humbleness with kindness and generosity, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

Quotation:*
It is the oldest temptation in the world, and the most fruitful parent of sins, and the most dangerous temptation- in that it contains so much truth- to regard self rather than God as the center in which spiritual effort must originate. --R.H. Benson

KJV*
Mt 6:13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Mt 6:16 Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
Mt 6:17 But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face;
Mt 6:18 That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.

Mr 14:38 Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak.
