Emotional Patience

Dear Lord please be with us this day and please may Your Holy Spirit be guiding and protecting us in every thing that we say and do. Thank You for all of the great gifts and blessings and protection that You give us and please forgive our sins the same as we forgive the mistakes of others.
Dear Lord please lead us into paths of common sense and greater understanding of how You would have Your Will to be done as we mix with Your Children and have to strain our patience to control our emotions and attitudes when we have conversation and listen to their thoughts.
Dear Lord please help us learn to listen more and speak less as we try to ascertain what paths we should follow among the many pitfalls in the territory of growing older in this world of giants and dwarfs of thought.
Dear Lord please lead us into pockets of wisdom and please give us enough sense to recognize it, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.
