Paths of Kindness

Dear Lord please be with us this day and please may Your Holy Spirit be guiding and protecting us in every thing that we say and do. Thank You for all of the great gifts and blessings and protection that You give us and please forgive our sins the same as we forgive the mistakes of others.
Dear Lord please lead us into paths of love and not hate, cooperation and not resistance, friendship and not coveting better positions and places of honor as we seek Your Kingdom.
Dear Lord please lead us into the paths of kindness and generosity, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

Quotation:*
Kind words are the music of the world.  They have a power which seems to be beyond natural causes, as if they were some angel's song which had lost its way and come on earth.  It seems as if they could almost do what in reality God alone can do-soften the hard and angry hearts of men.  No one was ever corrected by a sarcasm-crushed, perhaps, if the sarcasm was clever enough, but drawn nearer to God, never. -Faber

KJV*
1Co 13:4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
1Co 13:5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
1Co 13:6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
1Co 13:7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
