Restricted Salvation

Dear Lord please be with us this day and please may Your Holy Spirit be guiding and protecting us in every thing that we say and do. Thank You for all of the great gifts and blessings and protection that You give us and please forgive our sins the same as we forgive the mistakes of others.
Dear Lord please lead us into paths of patience and love with justice and mercy for even those who seem unlovable and less than desirable that we must touch along the paths of righteousness as we seek Your Kingdom.
Dear Lord please lead us into paths of defending the weak and helpless people as we travel the everyday paths of life in Your Creation and please lead us not into demanding that others believe the way that we do in order to find Your Love and Peace and Your Kingdom, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

Quotation:*
The practical weakness of the vast mass of modern pity for the poor and the oppressed is precisely that it is mere pity; the pity is pitiful but not respectful.  Men feel that the cruelty to the poor is a kind of cruelty to animals.  They never feel that it is injustice to equals; nay it is treachery to comrades. --Gilbert Keith Chesterton

KJV*
Lu 11:52 Woe unto you, lawyers! for ye have taken away the key of knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered.
