Struggle

Dear Lord please be with us this day and may we find strength in the closeness of the Holy Spirit on this day. Please help us find a strategy to use in our struggle with the feelings of depression, such as counting our blessings, and witnessing the beauty of clouds in the sky, the warmth of sunshine on our skin, singing birds, and the beauty of fluttering wings that God has given to mere insects. Please let us use this beauty of Your creation that is displayed constantly for us, even if it is only in our memories. Please let us use these displays of Your omnipotent wonder and greatness to insure our own stable position in a world that can sometimes knock us down with tragedy and harmful acts of evil. Dear Lord please show us that if we would begin to attempt to lead others into positions where they can better use and see Your displays of greatness and wonder, then this would be a strategy to move on to victory over our own struggles with the feelings of depression and dread. Thank You for all of the great gifts and blessings that You have given us, and please forgive our sins the same as we forgive the mistakes of others, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.
